Chunky Tomato Sauce with Green Olives

Rigatoni at it’s best. Garlic Stuffed Olives, tomatoes and fresh basil are combined for an extraordinary treat.


  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ Cup chopped onion
  • 1 Clove garlic, crushed
  • 3 Tablespoons Garlic Stuffed Olives, chopped
  • 1 28-oz can whole plum tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 oz rigatoni, cooked


Approximately 30 minutes. Heat olive oil in skillet, stir in onion. Sauté 5 minutes, till tender. Stir in garlic. Add tomatoes. Cook over medium heat, breaking up tomatoes, till boiling. Simmer sauce uncovered, until slightly thickened (about 15 minutes). Stir in seasonings. Serve over hot, cooked pasta.
